Tribe 9.5 Kayak
The Tribe 9.5 has proven to be an excellent asset to many people's fun list of toys. Seen here surfing the waves at Robe in January 2011. This Kayak is at home on the waves or at the river -fishing or just going with the flow. It is a very stable vessel which suits both beginners and keen surfers who want to push it to the limits.

Care should be taken
With the river levels up again care needs to be taken with snags and fallen trees. It is easy to see what's above the water but it is below the water that can not be seen that really provides the danger. Arms, legs and life vest straps can easily become caught on the submerged branches and limbs thus holding you under the water. This chap was lucky to be pulled out by his mates after tackling the fallen tree, fighting the current and losing his balance.

Early morning on the river
After the river rising a small group got out on the water early in the morning of 25th June 2010 to enjoy the steady flowing current.
